Where to Find Solution Explanations for Hard Maths Questions on Ezyxam

Getting a maths question wrong is only useful if you understand why.

When reviewing difficult Ezyxam mathematics questions, look for the available solution, explanation or worked-answer section.

First, attempt to solve the problem yourself.

If you cannot, identify where your reasoning stopped.

Then study the explanation carefully.

Do not simply read the final answer.

Ask:

What information did the solution use first?

Why was that operation chosen?

Could there be another method?

How could I recognise this question type next time?

After reviewing the solution, close it and attempt a similar problem independently.

This is essential.

If you can only follow the explanation while looking at it, you have not yet mastered the skill.

Students should gradually build a collection of useful problem-solving strategies, such as:

  • Drawing diagrams

  • Creating tables

  • Working backwards

  • Estimating

  • Identifying patterns

  • Breaking complex problems into smaller steps

Stuck on a difficult Ezyxam maths question? Review the worked explanation, identify the strategy and then solve a similar problem without assistance.
